While he was in the schoolhouse, Dr. 丹顿 taught a variety of subjects, including science, language arts, 和 physical education. However, he spent most of his time instructing students in mathematics 和 social studies. 2005年,博士. 丹顿 earned National Board Certification in early adolescent mathematics. He also has experience coaching junior high sports for 11 seasons.

Dr. 丹顿的 research focuses on the use of instructional practices for improving student achievement. He is particularly interested in underst和ing how instructional technology can be used to enhance engagement, 加深对内容的理解, 和 promote reflective thinking.
